Privacy Policy

Independent Broadcasting Associates, Inc recognizes the importance of privacy to visitors to its site. We want to let you know what information we collect and how it is used. Most important, we want to let you know how the information we gather affects you.

IBA's server, like most servers, collects information about visitors and stores them in log files. This information is gathered and stored each time the site is accessed. These logs do not collect personal information, such as a visitor's name, address, phone number, credit card numbers, or any other personally identifying information. Rather, these log files contain the following information:

The Internet Protocol Address (IP Address) of the machine that accessed our Web site.
The date and time of the visit.
The browser being used.
A list of files downloaded or viewed, including RealAudio™ files.
The amount of time spent on each page, including time spent listening to RealAudio files.
Any errors encountered.
Most Internet Service Providers (ISP) use a dynamic form of assigning IP Addresses. This means that a visitor often has a different IP Address each time he or she visits the IBA site. Many other ISPs (such as AOL) use Proxy Servers that further protect the anonymity for visitors.

Sometimes, the IBA's sites use a "cookie" to more accurately track your visit. This is a small file stored on your computer that uniquely identifies your machine. No personal information is stored in a "cookie." If you do not wish to accept a "cookie" from IBA's servers, you can adjust the settings in your browser accordingly. Refusing to accept a "cookie" does not affect how the site works.

IBA uses the information gathered in our log files to help us understand and evaluate our audience. By analyzing our logs, we can better understand which features work well and which features may not. It also helps us evaluate how well we are reaching our audience. The information gathered is used exclusively by IBA and is NEVER shared with any other company or organization.

How IBA Protects Your Information
We realize that our customers trust us to protect their personal information. We take that task seriously. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information. For example:

We use industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") authentication to guarantee the confidentiality of online transactions made on our site. SSL authentication and encryption of the information that you send to us over the Internet help protect your online transaction information from third party interception.

We never display your full credit card number once it has been entered. We will only reveal the last four digits of your credit card for verification purposes. We urge you to protect your own privacy. We recommend that you do not share your password with anyone or share your password in an unsolicited phone call or e-mail.

Unfortunately, despite all of our efforts, there is always a risk that third parties may unlawfully intercept transmissions. This reality is true of all Internet use. As a result, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit, and you transmit all information at your own risk.

In some sections of our site, we may ask for personal information, such as your name and/or e-mail address. The Shop and Contact Us sections are examples. You must have a parent's consent to provide this information if you are under 18 years of age. This information is used exclusively for identification purposes only.
