Hariprasad Chaurasia  CD and MP3

In Indian mythology Lord Krishna is said to have seduced more than 16,000 women through his playing of the "Bansuri" or bamboo flute.

Hariprasad Chaurasia is at pains to affirm that he's happily married and has no wish to emulate the romantic exploits of Krishna. But for the past quarter century Chaurasia has been charming audiences with his flute not just in his native India, but across Europe and the United States.

Julian reports on the man many consider the greatest flute player alive.
